🥕 Meet Chester- The Bunny Who Started It All

Though Chester has now crossed the rainbow bridge, his spirit continues to guide everything we do.

Chester was a beloved Mini Lop Rabbit who quickly became the heart and soul of our home—and our brand. Most days, you could find him flopped by the window, loafing in his hutch, or racing over the moment he heard a treat bag crinkle. He never left a crumb behind and welcomed all the pets and scratches (as long as his feet stayed firmly on the ground).

Chester brought joy, curiosity, and calm into our lives, and through Chester & Co., his legacy lives on. He remains our honorary head of operations and the voice of our brand—reminding us daily to slow down, sniff the air, and find happiness in the little things. 💛

Behind Every Great Bunny . . . Meet The Founder

Hi, I’m Shannon—the one who works for the bunnies, really, and the founder of Chester & Co. This adventure all started with a little serendipity and a lot of love for animals.

It began when our local Humane Society found a dumped domestic rabbit. My niece, determined to bring that bunny home, checked on its adoption status every day after school. When her parents said no, I stepped in as the fun aunt and said, "Sure, why not?!”

Though that bunny had found another home, we soon discovered Chester, a sweet Mini Lop bunny in need of a family. Chester joined our lives and opened our hearts to the wonderful, quirky world of pet rabbits. He taught us about the care, love, and dedication it takes to help bunnies thrive—and how easy it is to fall head over heels for them.

Chester’s presence inspired Chester & Co., a place to celebrate bunnies, spread kindness, and connect with other bunny lovers. 

Our collection of bunny-themed apparel, rabbit-inspired gifts and cozy home goods reflects our passion for rabbits and our mission: to bring more bunny joy into the world, support fellow bunny parents and build a welcoming community for people who adore these furry companions.
